Luigi De Faveri was a struggling conceptual entrepreneur living in Treviso, Northern Italy in January 1989 when he started the mission to re-establish the pocket door as an innovative, contemporary design feature. 35 years later and Eclisse – the family business he started – has grown to become the leading name in pocket doors and singularly responsible for the dramatic design renaissance the pocket door has enjoyed in the 21^st century.

Today the business has a reputation for quality and consistency, but also for design ingenuity. It now operates in 20 different countries around the world, and since 2001 has operated in the UK from headquarters near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Since 2019 the UK arm of the business has been 2/3 employee-owned, continuing the legacy of inclusiveness and community spirit that the De Faveri family first promoted all those years ago.

Eclisse Unico Classic pocket doors are our most popular product, available in standard and bespoke sizes. This is a traditional design finished with timber architrave, and is available in single and double sizes.
Eclisse Syntesis pocket doors exaggerate the sleek and stylish contemporary look of the pocket door, as they have no surrounding architrave and sit flush to walls for a neat, flawless finish. These have a special reinforced frame profile and are also available in single and double doors.
Eclisse fire-rated pocket doors are FD30-rated, which means they can resist the spread of fire for up to 30 minutes, making them suitable for homes and workplaces. The kits come with fire-rated timber jambs, integrated architrave and intumescent strips.
Eclisse glass pocket doors are a hugely popular feature for making small rooms more comfortable and usable. In single and double door sizes, these 8mm thick glass doors can also come with a satin opaque finish for privacy.
